1 Soleil courgette (germination is dropping off as the seeds are a few years old...I've never had a glut of courgette and I'm tempted to try for one  )
3 plants from a mixed pack of squash seeds (trying some new varieties...no luck with butternuts in the past)
2 Jack O'Lantern pumpkins planted out and 1 seed still coming through
3 Marketmore cucumbers planted outside (sorry, pals) and 1 in the GH
I will probably be very silly and start a couple more pumpkins and some watermelon seeds from my recent purchase. I mean, maybe the sun will come back and we'll have a longish summer, right?

Only one of the six crystal lemon cucumber seeds that I sowed ever germinated. I've then thoroughly neglected it, failed to pot it on, or harden it off. It's been sat in an overly hot window and is covered in flowers despite only being about five inches tall. I've now bunged it into a container outside, filled with mostly old reused compost.
I fear things may not go well for Cara the Cucumber... But let's see if she surprises me!

I am enjoying growing courgettes in the polytunnel. Don’t think I’ve ever had a harvest this early before.

my cukes are growing like hell I have one that’s about 5” long and nearly 1” in diameter.
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.

The two outdoor La Diva plants have conked out. They were fine before the most recent heavy winds but now all the leaves have drooped and withered: they are the saddest looking cucumber plants I've ever seen. The ones in the greenhouse are alright though, no fruit of them as of yet.
