Greenfly

I've seen them on nettles in the polytunnel while weeding but also lots of lovely ladybird larvae. Reminds me of a job I need to do; collect a few and distribute them round our roses.

Is any one else having to dodge clouds of aphids? I've never seen this before, they're everywhere! When I went cycling at the weekend they were getting in my eyes, mouth, nose and ears!

My husband went cycling yesterday and said exactly the same!

Must remember to wear my sunglasses this weekend, flies in the eye is the worst and most dangerous when on a bike. I can close my mouth and breath through my nose (and hopefully not inhale an aphid straight into my lungs), and in the ears they just tickle.

Often OH would finish cycling and I would spot a dead fly in his eye! He doesnt do so many miles these days
