TMTT can you clarify?
It's indeterminate. The one plant gave us 24 fruit weighing a total of 6kg last year, first ripe fruit mid-July.

I've remembered my other two. I knew I'd decided but hadn't written it down:

Piglet Willie's French Black
Black & Brown Boar

Both new to me and medium indeterminates. And I think that's it.

Yes, it is. I'd read about it a while back and had it on my wishlist. Can't wait to try it this summer.

I definitely grew if once, but a long time ago!

Ive grown black and brown boar lots of times - love the flavour but maybe not huge numbers of fruit on it compared to other varieties

PW's French Black is on sale from a few retailers - much to my surprise. It'll probably be on the HSL list soon. Wink
I did grow it one year but not impressed enough to grow it again.

My favourites last year were Golden Grape and Galena from Garrett, Bloody Butcher and Artisan Blush also from the seed circle.
Won’t grow Malachite Box, Peace Vine, Matt’s Hornet or Purple Cherokee again.
So ….. I’ve got to get choosing what new ones I shall give a whirl this year.

I'll be growing my old faithfuls - Rambling Red Stripe, Mountain Princess, Oregon Spring and a Gardener's Delight look alike. Not sure what else yet.
New to me will be Aurora and Whippersnapper + + +
I won't be growing black or yellow ones, potato leaved or wispy leaved ones.

It's interesting how different people's tastes in tomatoes are. I've not found an orange or yellow tomato I really like yet so I don't bother with them much anymore. Black tomatoes are my favourite by far, followed by reds. Pinks I find a bit too mild, I like a balance of acid and sweet instead of more of one or the other.

Why no potato leaved tomatoes, Veggie?

I don't like yellow/orange ones because they're a bit thin on flavour; don't grow black/purple one because I'm never sure when they're ripe.
Also don't like sweet tomatoes.
Potato leaved tomatoes will cross with other toms so its not easy to save seeds from them. Wispy leaves, like Black Icicle always look sad and droopy, as if they're on the verge of dying.
I'm just a boring old traditionalist when it comes to toms.
