Well it’s official. Today I’m actually as old as I feel ( physically, not mentally  !) Today I hit the half century mark  How did that happen!
I’m not normally one to make a big deal of a birthday. It’s not that special everyone has them . But today I am  .
I’ll see you all later I’m off to play on a roof  .
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

A whip-snapper was a seventeenth-century term for a young man with nothing better to do than to hang about idly snapping a whip. Whippersnapper is one of those rare terms that has a somewhat literal origin.

Thanks for the birthday wishes and cake and great idea (JJB) .
I got lots of lovely prezzies. A very random selection from a Moroccan bathroom sink, to a bag of marbles. And 2 lovely metal artwork things one for outside, one for inside.
Bob did cook tea . It was the only way he was going to eat , because I wasn’t going to do it .
