Strange how water from diffrent areas taste different, no doubt from the diffrent minerals it passes through, possibly the best I have tasted in England is in Shropshire, which I think comes from wells, though everyone of course will think their local water is the best

I certainly wouldn't call our local water "the best" - it's as hard as nails, thanks to our chalk subsoil!

I used to go to my Uncle and Grans smallholding which had spring water from the tap with no additives. It was sparkling cold even in hot summers and my Gran used to call it "Adams ale" Smile

We use that expression here in Ireland also Vinny.

We have very hard water where I live, I have an RO system that removes the calcium carbonate from the water also removes the fluoride so no smell. Smile
