Flowers beginning with E - Veggie - 19-12-2020 Remember this? Flowers you're growing or intend to grow with names beginning with E. I'll start with Echinacea - I have the pink one but would like more. Erysimum/wallflower. have some of these but you can never have too many wallflowers. Want to grow Echium vulgare - the wildflower Vipers Bugloss as its a good bee plant. RE: Flowers beginning with E - Small chilli - 19-12-2020 I like Echinacea . Never grown them. But I nearly added them to my shopping basket this morning . Love vipers bugloss. Not grown it since I’ve been living up here. Must remedy that. I can’t think of any other E’s. RE: Flowers beginning with E - toomanytommytoes - 19-12-2020 Eryngium (sea holly). The stems and flowers go a beautiful metallic blue. Bees love it too. Evening primrose. RE: Flowers beginning with E - Spec - 20-12-2020 Everlasting flowers I know the actual flower name doesn't begin with E but still remember my Mum drying them off when I was young, actual name being helecrisum, or something similar, must give those a go again RE: Flowers beginning with E - Farendwoman - 23-12-2020 Echinops- those lovely steely blue spiky balls. I prefer them to eryngium which (I think) have a horrible smell RE: Flowers beginning with E - Moth - 23-12-2020 Eranthis - winter aconite. first harbinger of spring in my garden. I also have erysimum, echinacea, and erythronium (dog tooth violet) RE: Flowers beginning with E - toomanytommytoes - 23-12-2020 (23-12-2020, 02:02 AM)Farendwoman Wrote: Echinops- those lovely steely blue spiky balls. RE: Flowers beginning with E - Farendwoman - 30-12-2020 Well the one I’ve got smells like a dead mouse. RE: Flowers beginning with E - Vinny - 31-12-2020 Echolttzia California......Californian poppies. These self seed in my garden and bring a welcoming bit of sunshine to my borders (and paths for that matter) RE: Flowers beginning with E - Scarlet - 31-12-2020 Erigeron Karvinskianus - fleabane, super easy from seed and will self seed everywhere! Self seeds in cracks and crevices and any little spot that nothing else will thrive. I'm rubbish at watering pots - I planted some in two huge pots a couple of years ago. They look fab and they don't need watering. Beautiful all summer. They were still gently flowering last month. |
