"Food Rules - an Eater's Manual" - Veggie - 13-12-2020

I love this book by Michael Pollan. Its small, funny and easy to read and makes a lot of sense.
The Food Rules are summarised with 7 simple words:-

Eat Food
Not too much
Mostly Plants.

Sounds simple but when he says "Eat Food" he means food "real food" not highly processed concoctions created by scientists
Rule 2 stands out to me "Don't eat anything your grandmother wouldn't recognise as food". Imagine she's standing beside you in the supermarket and she picks up a plastic tube of some sort of snack. Would she know what it was? If not, don't buy it!

To save you buying the book, the Rules are summarised at http://regionone.thediocese.net/Customer-Content/regionone/CMS/files/foodrules.pdf

Tell me which ones you can relate to. I'm going to try a bit harder to follow these from now on.

I think that I can relate to most of the rules.

I supposed by growing your own veg its easier to follow those rules.

I like number 15.

15. Eat foods made from ingredients that you can picture in their raw state or growing in nature
