Glass & wood - Small chilli - 18-11-2020 There’s not much wood in a London glassblowing exhibition, but what there is, Bob made . https://londonglassblowing.co.uk/exhibition/christmas-at-london-glassblowing-2/ RE: Glass & wood - Veggie - 18-11-2020 The glass and the wooden stoppers are beautiful. Is there a proper name for the stoppers? Finials? RE: Glass & wood - Small chilli - 18-11-2020 You got it, finials I’ve just been for a proper look round. Wow expensive!! Thing I find most annoying about artists is the complete BS they talk/write about the stuff they make. It’s a glass jar for crying out loud you can not see a bl@@dy Scottish (or any other sort ) forest. You’ll have to find it yourself . I’m not giving him anymore plugs . I’ll give you a hint, I put a link to it in one of the harvest festival threads.(18-11-2020, 09:38 AM)Small chilli Wrote:Ok gotcha, very impressive, the 2nd piece looks almost like it’s some sort of metal, or is it my eyes(18-11-2020, 09:31 AM)Broadway Wrote:The wood lids on some of the work. He knocked up a demo one yesterday in about half an hour. He had to make it because they wanted photos of the process for the exhibition. RE: Glass & wood - Mamzie - 18-11-2020 They are stunning and the wood is beautiful. I love watching glass being blown. My son used to love it and a glass blowing kit was on his Christmas list for years. sadly I was a bit too nervous to buy as its so hot even for a teen, and he was only about 8 when he first asked.. RE: Glass & wood - Can the Man - 19-11-2020 Very impressive SC, well done Bob |
