Nothing even remotely cute & fluffy about this thing! I found him sitting in ambush for his next victim (me) on my young asparagus plant after I’d just watered it.

A tick with a water droplet on its back.
Interesting but still horrible.

Lovely photos SC I hope you got rid of him you don’t want to risk Lymes disease, and I’m speaking from over 5 years experience of lymes with my wife.

I didn't want to like that post but wanted to acknowledge it. A friend has Lymes- it really has changed her life Sad
