Manure & Green Manure - Broadway - 15-08-2020

Afternoon folks

Apart from asking Veggie what a perennial leek would taste like I think my questions have been ok for a whileSmile

That said here we goSmile Would there be any benefit of sowing green manure into a newly manured bed to give it an additional boost???

I know some that grow green manure on any empty ground irrespective of the growing medium, if only to stop weeds taking over.

I think it's always good to have some roots in the ground over winter, it helps to stabilise the soil and could prevent a lot of the nutrients in the manure washing away.

I think I'm gonna give it a go was just a bit dubious about the seeds growing direct in the manure
