Space saving ideas. - Neffa - 19-05-2020 Like many people I don’t have much space in my tiny garden for my fruit and veg. I thought I’d show a few of my ideas in the hope that it’s gives others a bit of inspiration or encourages them to share their ideas. The tatties are Charlottes and one per pot. I was pleasantly surprised how many a small pot can hold. The shoe storage things have sugar snap peas in because I’m a great believer in what grows up will also grow down. The hanging baskets are mixed spicy leaf and mini gem lettuce in one and spinach and radish in the other two. I promise they are the right way up if you click on the pics. RE: Space saving ideas. - Small chilli - 19-05-2020 It’s all looking good Neffa . I’m ever so slightly jealous of your spuds, they are looking fantastic . RE: Space saving ideas. - Mamzie - 19-05-2020 I am loving those ideas, thank you . RE: Space saving ideas. - Admin - 19-05-2020 Looks fantastic Neffa RE: Space saving ideas. - JJB - 19-05-2020 Definitely thinking outside the box, or perhaps the veg patch. Thanks. RE: Space saving ideas. - Proserpina - 19-05-2020 Fabulous! RE: Space saving ideas. - Bren - 20-05-2020 Looking good there Neffa RE: Space saving ideas. - SarrissUK - 20-05-2020 Lovely solutions! I love the look of your shoe storage - I've been using a massive version of that from that Swedish furniture store (that annoyingly is closed at the moment) for only £3 or something. The pockets on mine are smaller than yours though, so I do find that they dry out very quickly. I'm repositioning mine into a less sunny spot to see if that helps this year RE: Space saving ideas.i - Neffa - 21-05-2020 (20-05-2020, 11:05 PM)SarrissUK Wrote: Lovely solutions! Neffa - Neffa - 31-05-2020 Here’s my little garden. I know it’s very crammed with everything from a hogitat to a frog pool but I’m sure I could get more in if I tried harder. Sorry if the pics are not the right way up again but I’ve no idea how to get it sorted. And more. You guessed it. |
