Spring onion seed saving - Small chilli - 06-07-2020
I was going to have a go as saving spring onion seeds.
There’s no info on the real seeds saving guide, I’ve just looked.
To be honest I don’t even know if spring onions are annual or biannual
.Will my selected Ones flower this year?

I'd say they are biennial but not 100% sure as they have a shorter lifecycle than normal onions.

Ones I sowed in February have been putting out seed heads for a month or so now, I keep nipping them off. Maybe the hot, dry spring stressed them a bit?

I have 2 spring onions in the poly tunnel sowed last winter, they are now the size of leaks.
