ID this plant - Veggie - 28-06-2020 [attachment=601] If you found this in your GH or garden, how would you react? What is it? PS I know RE: ID this plant - PyreneesPlot - 28-06-2020 Depends where it was (GH - remove!), but try to leave it for the seed eaters. RE: ID this plant - Veggie - 28-06-2020 I've amended my 1st post to ask if you know what it is! I know but I'm curious whether others do. Its in the GH. RE: ID this plant - PyreneesPlot - 28-06-2020 A weed? RE: ID this plant - Small chilli - 28-06-2020 Lettuce for seed collection? RE: ID this plant - Mark_Riga - 28-06-2020 If it was in my greenhouse it would be a weed I'd missed but in yours likely to be something you want the seeds from I think. RE: ID this plant - Can the Man - 28-06-2020 It’s a weed scrub it. RE: ID this plant - Jimny14 - 28-06-2020 If it were in my veg plot I'd be scratching my head as to how I'd missed it, then I'd probably think about saving some seeds, before inevitably being too busy and ending up with loads of self sown lettuce(?) Around the patch. RE: ID this plant - Veggie - 28-06-2020 Those of you who guessed it was Lettuce are correct. They're not just bolted lettuce - they are next winter's salad! In April they looked like this [attachment=603] and they grew from seed produced the year before - from a living salad pack from L1dl. I leave them to self seed in the GH. No work and no cost.
