Any idea what this is please, looks like some sort of brassica to me?

Hi Danny, looks like a brassica to me too. Could it be one of the perennial kales that, I think, you've bought?
Looks healthy and the fact that it seems to have been planted in a pot, makes me think its worthwhile keeping.

I don't remember buying it but that's me Veggie! Yes I will put it in the plot along with the 3 that I propagated from one last year:-)

Google lens says scabious or fleabane. It looks a bit like a Canterbury bell to me. My friend is not a gardener so anything 3xoic is unlikely. It's turner up in a pot uninvited.

That looks a lot like bellflowers that I had at my old house. Could that be it?

I've googled the foliage and I think I'm right. We call them bluebells here, but it's not the same flower as what is called bluebells in the UK.

Could it be a willowherb? Whatever, if your friend wants to grow the rosemary in the pot, she needs to get rid of the intruder.

I have passed the message on that it could be bellflower or rosebay willowherb, also to free the rosemary from incarceration. She says she has some bellflower in the garden already and they could have self seeded. Thank you gang.
