Pumpkins with edible seeds. - Veggie - 15-06-2024 Some pumpkins have hull-less (or semi-hull-less seeds) which makes them better for eating. I want to see if shop bought edible pumpkin seeds are viable, so I'm going to put some on damp kitchen paper and see if they sprout. If they do, it would save a lot of expense, tracking down the few commercial seeds that are on sale. That's how I came to have my Triple Treats in the first place. Still not planted out because all my seedlings are pipsqueaks this year... Besides, her seeds are from Aldi, so... |
