Autumn Sown Hardy annuals - Farendwoman - 14-02-2023

Advice please.
Planting out my autumn sown sweet peas this week .
What else can I put out now??
I’ve got about half a dozen sturdy daucus, same number of larkspur and just four ammi visnaga.
I know that these are hardy - but seeing as I’ve lost absolutely loads of seedlings through the winter, do you think it’s a  bit soon?

I think that maybe I’m getting carried away by the thought of SPING.

Also got a fair few cornflowers that I’d like to get out

Good thinking Scarlet.
Thank you.

I wouldn’t be putting anything out yet.

Anything I would have put out has been clobbered by frost even under glass. I have a few weedy sweetpeas.

I lost loads of stuff in the greenhouse in December so I am being more cautious this year. The cornflowers are one of the only things that survived, even lots of the sweet peas conked out.

I lost all my cornflower and sweetpeas... my anemones outside froze and then all rotted Sad

The only consolation is that we’ve all got plenty of time to start again with our hardy annuals.
I’m most peeved about my perennial primulas that have frozen, thawed, frozen, thawed - and then rotted. Lost nearly all of them save for a few real toughies. Grrrr.
