Has anyone used pelleted carrot seed?

If so, what were the results/benefits of using them ?

I have done - but years ago! They were easier to sow and, I think, the coating was supposed to help them germinate more quickly . On the down side, more expensive and less variety. Don't remember the results, sorry.

Same as veggie, used some years ago, expensive, needed to keep soil surface moist at all times or else the coating strangled the seed. Angry Wasn't impressed at the time but maybe they have perfected it now? Smile
