Some large carrots - Can the Man - 29-01-2022

I was digging some carrots this evening for tomorrow’s dinner, and found these guys, they were a bit to big likely to be woody so compost bin they went.

I'd got some woody parsnips a few years ago so made soup then put it through the Kenwood sieve, soup turned out fine.

You should have tried eating them. I find big carrots are just as tasty as smaller ones and quicker to peel or scrub.

I think the carrots may be in the compost now - Can's carrots were dug up in 2022. Big Grin
