Forgot to tell you that I won a raffle prize in the Children's Hospital Raffle (as I did last year). I've chosen the same prize too - a box of cakes and sweet treats. Its being delivered on Thursday. Big Grin

So about a month ago farmer gracy reduced all their peonies- they do it every year... I thought I'd plant a row for cutting. Spent nearly £50 on 20 which was an absolute bargain....
It was running late/stuck in the depot- I ordered something else for a present for a friend and when that came I asked my delivery driver about the delayed parcel - he said contact the supplier abd get a refund, we have an issue and its like a mountain in there - ut will all get sent back... so I demanded a refund, the day it landed in my bavk account the delivery driver turned up with the lost parcel he said " I spotted that flower on the box and thought it might be yours" omg 20 peonies for free ... one happy girl!

I did 50 hours of night shifts last week and more than 60 hours in work this week (three standard days plus three looooong days on-call) so I'm pretty shattered. However, I have a whole day off today and then am doing an online work course (via Zoom) from Monday to Wednesday which means working from home on those days. The course is likely to be very dull, but I am looking forward to having three days sat on my settee without my bleep going off or A&E telling me that they have yet another super-complex and exceptionally sick person for me to attempt to sort out. Obviously, it's a privilege to be able to try and help people who are so unwell, but it's also stressful and a few days away from it is very appealing right now. Just have to pop to Lidl today to lay my hands on the right snacks to get me through the course!
