I've just found the Puzzle a Day block! Are you ready?

I've got 4, but No.3 has me stumped for now.

Has anyone tried the GCHQ puzzles this year? I managed one and a half, but the rest I have no idea where to start. if anyone has any hints, they'd be most welcome!

No. 3 stumped me too for a while.
I saw the GCHQ puzzles but not at a time when my brain was awake. I'll try again when it is (if ever).
