RE: The build - Bren - 20-09-2022 I’m another who’s enjoying watching your home take shape. RE: The build - Vinny - 20-09-2022 I've said it before and I'll say it again "You are living my dream" SC Enjoying every minute of your exploits! RE: The build - Small chilli - 20-09-2022 As ever you lot are lovely and very supportive . Got a couple more bits of cladding up on the main part of the roof and one more edge of barge flashing. Then rain stopped play. Don’t actually get any photos due to the rain. But they’d look very similar to the last couple of photos Forgot to show some more of Bobs DIY, money saving. This time he’s made his own seamer. A tool to bend the ridge metal. You can buy seamers and they’re only around £25 (excluding delivery). But why spend when you don’t need to . [attachment=5391] RE: The build - Small chilli - 21-09-2022 Today was a half day because got rained off again. We did some scaffold juggling so we can get to the top of the apex safely. Then we put up the cladding and barge flashing on one side. [attachment=5393] [attachment=5394] Thanks to JJBs ideas I graffitied the back of one of the boards before it went up. [attachment=5395] RE: The build - Veggie - 21-09-2022 Love it! That'll please the archaeologists . RE: The build - JJB - 22-09-2022 Wonderful. I feel I was part of a bit of history. I like confusing archaeologists, I've buried several amonite fossils in the garden to keep someone guessing in the future.
