IN came two shelving units, a set of saucepans that may/or may not be better than the ones I've been using for years. Plus some miscellaneous kitchen stuff and a selection of plastic storage boxes. Its always a mistake to visit this lady as she has a garage full of stuff to rehome. People give her things to give away. She gives usable things to local charities for animals, babies, Ukraine and so on. When I go there for something, she always tries to offload something else on me - like the utensils and the boxes. I find it so hard to say No. Wink
OUT went a load of cardboard box clutter.

She's like Aunty Wainwright in Last of the Summer Wine without financial bother.

I didn't watch Last of the Summer Wine so I'll take your word for it!

Yesterday there was at least 5 trays of assorted bread amongst the food bank leftovers I didn’t need any so I just took a bag of bagels and cheese scones.

IN today - 5 kilos of big carrots - all in excellent condition. I've put most of them in paper carrier bags and will store them in a dustbin.
Also IN lots of books - mostly cookery and self improvement - not that I need improvement. Wink

Two jars of cranberry sauce
One tin of Condensed milk

From today’s 2 visits to the house clearance. Not free but a good selection for £35. A single duvet, a really thick fleece blanket (breeze will love his new blanket next winter), an elm burr snail, 1 large 2 medium terracotta pots. Half a trug full of useable compost from said pots, a garlic chives & a curly mint, a rusty garden fork head. A very large hanging basket and 3 bags of Jake magic compost.

I've given some parsnips and leeks so we're having a casserole this evening.

And 3 strawberry plants, I just found in the hanging basket while emptying it out.
