Got a few but none bigger than a marrow fat pea. They should be bigger by now if they’re going to produce, I think. [attachment=7711] [attachment=7712] Sweet pepper (black) can’t remember its name, beaver dam chilli (green) RE: Let's see inside 2021/22/23/24 - JJB - 08-07-2024 (08-07-2024, 08:59 AM)Small chilli Wrote: Polytunnel babies. Some superb babies. I like the cockscomb, they look like soldiers standing to attention with funny dress hats on. Are they llikely to go outside in your flower beds? He looks very yellow. Like he’s hungry. But I feed him sheep daggin tea a couple of times a week, tomato feed ones a week and cal mag ones a week (only just started this one to be fair). Feeding all other cucurbits the same and they are looking ok. RE: Let's see inside 2021/22/23/24 - Small chilli - 08-07-2024 (08-07-2024, 09:09 AM)JJB Wrote:No polytunnel only for the cockscomb. Couldn’t be bothered hunting though all the fleece and undergrowth to find the label . I’m absolutely loving how it’s growing. Really productive, deep red when ripe, nice thick walls, quite juicy. Great sweet pepper! RE: Let's see inside 2021/22/23/24 - toomanytommytoes - 02-11-2024 Greenhouse is finally planted up for winter. Similar set up to last year. Left side: Kale (Black Magic, Red Russian) Coriander Lettuce (Navara, Salad Bowl Red & Green) Spinach (Mikado, Lazio) Back: Parsley Right side: Tatsoi Mibuna Mizuna (red and green) Komatsuna Pak choi (red and green) Chard Empty space where it's too shady under the staging That should provide us enough for one or two salads a week, depending on light levels. I've got more lettuce in the grow tent and I'll be trying some on a windowsill too. The green and metal tent pegs are marking the rows of interplanted Solent Wight garlic, about 48 cloves in total. On the staging out of shot, there's some red cabbage, cauliflower and calabrese plants in modules for overwintering and planting in February. Also overwintering onions which aren't big enough to plant out yet. RE: Let's see inside 2021/22/23/24 - JJB - 03-11-2024 It looks all very professional and organised TMTT a very fine productive gh. Note to self: must try harder. |
