RE: Tonight’s recipe - Vinny - 10-06-2020 Mince and cheesy dumplings with tatties. RE: Tonight’s recipe - Small chilli - 10-06-2020 Toad in the hole made with beef sausages. With courgette, kale & gravy. RE: Tonight’s recipe - Broadway - 10-06-2020 (10-06-2020, 05:11 PM)Broadway Wrote: Mussels and either frites or pastaEnded up with frites and a side salad RE: Tonight’s recipe - Veggie - 11-06-2020 All I picked today! 4 courgettes sliced lengthwise into 3, 3 Bijou mangetout and a handful of DFBs, all tossed in seasoned flour and shallow fried until crispy brown.. Mangetout puff up! Normally, I'd eat this with grated cheese or dipped in mayonnaise but tonight, I ate them neat as I wanted to savour my first real taste of courgettes for 2020. Followed by Strawberries and raspberries. Free meal. RE: Tonight’s recipe - Bren - 11-06-2020 Chips, cheese and onion pasty with beans even remembered to use my chive flower vinegar. Bren who has courgette envy RE: Tonight’s recipe - Small chilli - 11-06-2020 Lamb pasanda again ( it is very very nice ) With rice & (home grown) cucumber Rita. RE: Tonight’s recipe - Can the Man - 12-06-2020 Oven baked hake that was marinated in garlic and herbs with homemade oven baked chips and steamed peas. Very tasty but next time I need to put some chilli in the marinade to give it a bit of a kick. RE: Tonight’s recipe - JJB - 12-06-2020 Sweet potato and chickpea curry with pilau rice, naan and cucumber pickle RE: Tonight’s recipe - Can the Man - 12-06-2020 Steamed potatoes (last of shop bought spuds), will now start buying from stalls until my own new ones, steamed carrots from the PT, bun burger with fried onions RE: Tonight’s recipe - Vinny - 12-06-2020 Just made some ham and veg soup with loads of pepper. Beats the hell out of tinned soup. |
