RE: Freecycle and similar websites - Small chilli - 19-10-2023 Have a big slice of chocolate cake for me. I’m attempting to diet. RE: Freecycle and similar websites - Veggie - 19-10-2023 Just eaten 3 little cupcakes so can't fit in a big slice of chocolate cake..........maybe later. https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/314604687 RE: Freecycle and similar websites - Small chilli - 20-10-2023 Cat & chicken sitting so I get to keep eggs. 3 today. RE: Freecycle and similar websites - Veggie - 23-10-2023 IN today came 3 white loaves, sushi, onion bhajis, sliced apple snack things and some sourdough focaccia. RE: Freecycle and similar websites - Veggie - 24-10-2023 IN today - a pair of microwavable slippers for those cold feet days, a webcam. (oddly, my new 2nd hand laptop doesn't have a built in camera, so, just in case, I have one now). Also 3 sourdough loaves and 2 sourdough pizza slices. RE: Freecycle and similar websites - Veggie - 26-10-2023 IN today came a printer (may or may not work), some toiletries and cookery books and 8 packs of raw dog meat. The dog meat lady also gave me a cooked joint of beef from her freezer that she was going to throw out because she didn't know how long it had been frozen! My dogs don't look at dates. I combined these collections with a trip to the £5 x2 pantry. My £10 seems to go a lot further here than it does in the supermarket, plus there's a randomness about what they have which pleases me. Today, potatoes, carrots, lots of broccoli, pak choi, tangerines, limes, a pomegranate, a mango, avocados, 2 mini pumpkins, vegan pseudo meat. a steak pie, sausage rolls, sausages, hummus, fruit smoothies, mozzarella, tiger loaf, biscuits, crisps, canned drinks, bags of marshmallows, 2 polar bear ginger bread "men", washing up liquid and handwash. That gives you an idea of what will be on the menu this week. OUT went some bubble wrap and packing noodle things. RE: Freecycle and similar websites - JJB - 26-10-2023 Marshmallows and gingerbread men could be 'smores. RE: Freecycle and similar websites - Veggie - 26-10-2023 Had to ask the Duck about 'smores - its a new one on me! BTW they're very nice. RE: Freecycle and similar websites - Veggie - 26-10-2023 Too late to find out now as I've eaten the gingerbread bear! |
