We've been eating Aldi beans for about as long as Aldi stores have been round here. Used to eat Heinz until about 25 year ago, when they started having more juice than beans in a tin as well as getting a lot dearer. I think aldi's were about 5p a tin, full of beans and tasted better. Though it look like we are changing to a new supplier: a small worker cooperative selling an organic variety. RE: Tonight’s recipe - Can the Man - 28-12-2020 Beef curry and rice RE: Tonight’s recipe - Bren - 28-12-2020 Last night Lamb Bhuna, rice and sourdough naans. tonight its Sausage, egg and chips with a slice of bread and butter. |
