I’m also cheating slightly as I’m half way through the week. Sorry. All house jobs Monday - more research into wills & POA Tuesday - rearranged living room furniture and touched up paint work. Wednesday - fitting padlocks to all S sheds & sorting out keys, sowing edging on a carpet. Thursday - (today) spring cleaning a holiday cottage kitchen & finishing sowing edging on carpet. Friday - first time going to Oban in 2 years Saturday - working Sunday - I don’t know yet. Garden Carried Over - Prune Apples & pears This week – Wash pots for seeds Weed rose bed, and mulch WEEDED, NOT MULCHED YET Clear mulch, moss etc from steps DONE Mulch climbing roses DONE Cut back perennials in Arch Bed DONE Mulch veg Bed 6 (tomatoes etc in 2022) DONE Turn leaf pile DONE Next week – Mulch magnolia Clear Veg Bed 11 and sow phacelia Collect mole hills Sort plastic under sowing bench Plan which tomato seeds to sow Cut edges of Hot Bed Order nest boxes from LPO Life/House Carried Over - Dust the spare room - no visitors since before Covid so it really needs it NOT DONE AGAIN This week - Clean top of kitchen wall units DONE Dust top of cabinet in living room DONE Clear out shelf under coffee table Clean bath (never used, in the family bathroom) Clean houseplant leaves Email Aunt & Uncle Wash cat basket blanket DONE Next week – Remove high level cobwebs Wash loose covers on sofa Cut tinder for the fire Clean cupboard storing spuds and onions Clean mirror in hall Re-pot lemongrass (they’re house plants in the winter!) Plant up the apple tree I just bought - Done! 5. Plant up the Victoria plum tree - Done! 6. Plant out the perennial kale - Done! 7. Go and dismantle the new (to me) 8x8 glass greenhouse - Done! So that leaves my new list for this week: 1. Sow flower seeds 2. Turn my big compost heap - not done 3. Shift all the concrete into a pile - almost done 4. Empty the pond and give the fish away 5. Start working on the overall design of the garden with Jay - we have begun the planning! New summer house facing the back the of the house with a barbeque and pizza oven social space in between.
