RE: 2023 - What I did today - Small chilli - 09-06-2023 Yesterday Got the next 11 fish boxes ready to go [attachment=6597] More packing. It must have taken masses of forward planning, I'm impressed. It has been a bit of a head scratcher at times! This morning I’ve removed my sweet peas from the fence they keep insisting on grabbing hold of. Tied them up ready for their journey ( so pleased it’s not far! ) . They and another 9 fish boxes, I’m going to need Bobs help moving. Turns out you can only fit 6 fish boxes on the trailer . 7 if you stack . Luckily most of them contain bulbs that have gone over. So I could stack one. Might have to get the big trailer out .(09-06-2023, 07:20 AM)Small chilli Wrote: Yesterday Got the next 11 fish boxes ready to go RE: 2023 - What I did today - Bren - 09-06-2023 Planted black kale and chard. RE: 2023 - What I did today - Veggie - 09-06-2023 Nothing worth mentioning today! The grounds too hard and dry to sow, plant or weed. RE: 2023 - What I did today - PyreneesPlot - 09-06-2023 Yesterday did the weekly sow list (lettuce, beetroot, basil, parsley, DFBs, fennel, savoy cabbage, nasturtium) pricked out savoy cabbage and basil. Today clipped the small fedge & started weeding arch bed before thunderstorms stopped play. RE: 2023 - What I did today - Garrett - 10-06-2023 Woke up early and planted out: Tomatoes Melon (Minnesota Midget) Sweet peppers Dwarf french marigolds and zinnias Glad I got all that done while it was still relatively cool, I've retired indoors for the afternoon to watch the tennis. RE: 2023 - What I did today - JJB - 10-06-2023 Chopped down an 8ft elder in empty next door at the request of the owners. It was in what was once a veg patch. Then weeded a bit where the bitter cress was proliferating. The ground was rock solid but as it was a bit of free ground I could bash at it with gusto. It hit 29 degrees at lunch time, might stay indoors or work in the shade this afternoon. RE: 2023 - What I did today - Bren - 10-06-2023 Early morning watering seedlings/containers then putting on the GH shading. RE: 2023 - What I did today - Mark_Riga - 10-06-2023 Watered peas, onions, broadbeans, polytunnel and strawberry bed. Potted up some quinoa seedlings and planted out some asparagus seedlings. Then weeded some sweet peas. Then listened to the thunder and pouring rain - still rumbling. Hopefully I can have a day off watering tomorrow. |
