RE: What I harvested today - Scarlet - 18-06-2020 [attachment=509] Well I don't think I've ever had beans so thin and long as this before? The weather? The variety? This is Avalon - from the seed circle a few years. Average length is about 6inches...some are 7 and a half. Very chuffed with these today. # these are early as they are planted in the green house. I have climbing ones outside - nowhere near cropping yet. RE: What I harvested today - Veggie - 18-06-2020 Are they DFBs, Scarlet, maybe from Nellie? I've just looked through my beans stash - found Artemis, Avalon, Adour, Aramis - but not Avalon! RE: What I harvested today - Scarlet - 18-06-2020 Sorry...just went back up to check! They are Aquilon - dwarf french bean. I don't know who they came from. I can't find the pack but definitely from a swap. I will be growing these again. Must make sure I don't eat them all as I've only 10 plants. RE: What I harvested today - Bren - 18-06-2020 One raspberry and a dish of strawberries. |
