RE: Free Plants from Cuttings - JJB - 29-07-2025 I'm in a cutting frenzy. As well as those mentioned elsewhere my pal has given me some more hydrangea cuttings. If all the cuttings I've acquired root, which is honestly quite unlikely, I'll be inundated with hydrangeas. Looking at the RHS website they may not be frost hardy. What on earth have I let myself in for!
RE: Free Plants from Cuttings - JJB - 11-04-2026 Some white carnation cuttings I acquired (nicked) last summer were doing well, they had fat flower buds on them. I planted these out a couple of weeks ago and now find some varmint has chopped the buds off and presumably eaten them. I suspect mouse or rat but the devil has ignored the tips of the pinks. Anyone else suffered this way? |
