IN came my weekly supply of Sourdough items - 3 small loaves, a fruit loaf, 2 doughnuts and 4 miscellaneous pastry things.
The collector messages me on Saturday evening and I place my order for collection Sunday morning. Its a perfect arrangement and its FREE. Big Grin

IN came a carrier bag of cupboard clearouts - 99% of which have long use by dates. Big Grin
A jar of coffee, tins and packets of soup, pineapple slices, tinned peas, porridge, lentils, pasta, curry sauce, rice and a bag of dog food.
The Moneyless Chicken can eat again. Big Grin
I get ridiculously excited when I collect a bag of random food. Its a bit like Crispmas - not knowing what is in the bag until I get home to unwrap it. There's rarely anything that I can't use.

IN
A flourescent light diffuser, i.e. Square guttering sort of. Some 20 x 8ft environmesh with only a couple of repairable holes and some netting suitable for keeping birds off the strawberries.
Next door lady is collecting stuff in her garage for an eventual dump trip and allowed me to rummage. P was not happy, saying we had enough rubbish of our own , until he spied some computer bits that he thought might be useful. Big Grin

IN came 2 loaves and 2 packets of pancakes.
NO Sourdough this weekend. The girl who collects it messaged me on Friday to let me know that she was in Rome for the Rugby and wouldn't be collecting. I'm surprised that she found time to message!

IN came some unwanted items from Christmas hampers - 2 jars of Olive paste - one black, one green, a pot of onion and sherry chutney and some Fortnum & Mason Brandy Butter.
Also IN came a kitchen liquidiser (that I wanted) and a box of beer glasses, mugs and cutlery that I didn't want. I'm sure I'll find a home for them soon.

In today was some tinned food ( bean, peas, mushrooms, sweetcorn) and bag of porridge oats, bottle of Sherry. 4 bedside drawers, double bed & mattress, table top fridge, and a washing machine.

Think I told you about the furniture when was offered them a few weeks ago.

Veggie, have you heard of the people who started with something small and bartered up to something quite valuable? Imagine starting with a paperclip and ending up with a Ferrari or something. Your liquidiser bundle brought that to mind. I hope I can get a ride in the Ferrari one day.

You could be on to something, DJ. The man who gave me the box of odds and ends said that he'd added something special to the box. Apparently he'd seen one for sale on ebay for £15 - but he couldn't be bothered to try to sell this one.
Since you'll never guess what it was, I'll tell you. Its a pottery coffee container in the shape of a Mexican? man in a big hat playing a guitar! Since you're a friend, you can have it for £14. Big Grin
I also found 2 sticks of Scarborough rock and an incense stick!!

EDIT Its one of these https://www.pinterest.com/pin/vintage-price-amp-kensington-coffee-storage-jar--454371049906619065/
