RE: New RSFLF Challenge. :D - Veggie - 18-08-2023 Are you ready for another Version of RSFLF. I'm combining 2 earlier versions into one new one. It goes something like this.......... Week 1 Monday - is for sowing seeds and I'll sow all the week's seeds on the same day. For example Wk 1, Monday, I'll sow carrots, radish. spring onions, peas, lettuce and rocket Week 2 Monday - sow Beetroot, radish. leeks, beans and kale/cabbage Week 3 Monday - turnips, radish, parcel/celery, some sort of fruit and spinach/chard Week 4 Monday - potatoes, Oriental veg, some sort of fruit and greens. I've chosen these veg as I think I should be able to sow and grow them all year round using buckets in the GH overwinter. Regardless of what the seed packet says, I'm going to try it. The plan is to put each week's seeds together in a box, sow some and put the box away from the next 3 weeks, Before you ask, I'm still working on what happens on the remaining days of the week! Watch this space. RE: New RSFLF Challenge. :D - Veggie - 18-08-2023 Jobs for the Week - Sow Seeds Monday Transplant Tuesday Weeding Wednesday Herbs Day Thursday Flowery Friday Catch up weekend. Plus, of course - weeding a strip a week and a different bed each day (weather permitting). Sorted. |
