RE: 2026 - Freecycle & similar FREE stuff - Veggie - 27-03-2026 Looks comfy Great freeby.
RE: 2026 - Freecycle & similar FREE stuff - JJB - 27-03-2026 That looks really comfortable to curl up on. PS I like the red but understand it wouldn't go with everything. RE: 2026 - Freecycle & similar FREE stuff - Veggie - 27-03-2026 Yesterday I collected some "interesting" food! A jar of spreadable Pistachio cream, a kilo jar of couscous and dried vegetables, Instant Peach Drink and a "S'mores kit" complete with a small cast iron frying pan. OUT today go 95% of my herb/fruit teabags since I have, as promised, switched to loose leaf tea completely. Omg, it’s lovely stuff. RE: 2026 - Freecycle & similar FREE stuff - Veggie - 27-03-2026 Thanks for the recommendation! I'll eat it instead of hoarding it! RE: 2026 - Freecycle & similar FREE stuff - JJB - 28-03-2026 I've not tried it, anymore than I've tried Dubai chocolate. I can't get past the green colour and the fact that pistachios aren't my favourite. RE: 2026 - Freecycle & similar FREE stuff - Bren - 28-03-2026 I called at the church yesterday came home with 4 sweet peppers. RE: 2026 - Freecycle & similar FREE stuff - Veggie - 30-03-2026 Three loaves of bread from Olio - including 2 Ollve loaves (my favourite). OUT went some Dog grooming clippers. Also IN - a pack of Hot cross buns from Morries as I had a Voucher for a free pack.
RE: 2026 - Freecycle & similar FREE stuff - Bren - 31-03-2026 I'm another who like those Olive loaves, they sometimes have them up at the Church. Oddly sliced bread always seems to go first. RE: 2026 - Freecycle & similar FREE stuff - Veggie - 31-03-2026 Not quite Free but I've just bought an almost new microwave on Marketplace and the seller gave us a kettle as well. The coating under the turntable of my old FREE microwave had started to bubble and flake off so thought I should replace it. I wanted a stainless steel interior and a grill & convection facility and this 2nd hand one ticks all my boxes for the princely sum of £50. Going to take me a while to understand the instructions though.
