IN came 4 Pot Noodle things - not something I would buy but I wanted the big bag of Nuts, raisins and chocolate chips that was part of the joblot. Big Grin

Out has gone all sorts of things either to the dump, frecycle or recycling. Cake tins, soft toys, books, bedding, clothes, loads of rubbish.

IN today, from the Eyelash Lady, a tree in a pot. I've no idea what it is but its about 4-5' tall, has been pruned as a standard. She said it was a willow with red, white & green leaves and very pretty. Time will tell - there are no leaves on it yet.
Also two more planters with pansies and N/K others.

I'm going back to her tomorrow for some packets of "bulbs" the sort you get in cheap shops. Can't tell what they are from the photo - there's a dahlia, lilies , maybe onion sets. Can't see what else. Probably well past their best but, I like surprises!

Unfortunately, the bulbs were well past their best but I've planted some, in hope. There were 3 Crinum Powellii, which had all sent up shoots within the package but one of them had a new green shoot - so fingers crossed everyone.
If the bulbs were fresh it would have been a fantastic gift - lilies, gladioli, iris, acidanthera, anenomes, dahlias, peonies, asparagus, onions & garlic. Most of these are in the compost bin. A few are having a soak, just in case there's life and I bunged the firmer ones in a random spot. Not holding out much hope though.
Eyelash Lady also gave me a new, never been opened, RHS Encyclopedia of gardening. It weighs a ton!
Apparently her husband works for security and is always coming home with stuff that was being chucked out. I'm guessing that's how he came by the bulbs. Pity he didn't find them earlier!

OUT went 2 cafetieres (someone was looking for one - so I off loaded two on her);
Also out 4 handmade pottery bowls that I bought at a camel market in Tunisia - my OH always said that he turned down an offer of 3 camels for me!! Only 3 camels! I'm worth more than that. Big Grin
Finally, 3 boxes of paper, some used on one side, headed notepaper from my last job and coloured card - all for children to draw on. So pleased that that lot has gone, I didn't want to send it to recycling if it had a use.

IN came 3 plastic watering cans. My cunning plan is to position one under the drain tap on each wormery. I can leave the taps open to drain the leachate out, and catch it in a watering can ready to pour somewhere useful. I've tried leaving small trays there but they fill with leaves or blow away so I needed something bigger and better.

From the church today. Pomegranates, strawberries, carrots, 4 wholemeal cobs, ciabatta bread, and a sourdough loaf.

I went to the church book & clothes giveaway. OUT went some books and 4 pairs of shoes - IN came a load more books, a purple fleece and an Australian
T shirt.
Also OUT - a dog's bowl for slowing down greedy eaters (I should be using that) and several dog's toys for a rescued greyhound to play with.
IN came 2 pottery dog's bowls which are too nice to use for dog food! I may "borrow" one as a fruit bowl. Big Grin Don't tell the dogs. Wink

Out today was some railway stuff of P's, model station kit, postcards of very boring diesel locos. Also out a few books on needlepoint for 1" scale dolls houses, embroidery hoops and maybe some thread if I can find it.

IN today 2x Gousto meals - freshly delivered today! Chestnut Mushroom Bolognese with linguine and Oven Baked Fable mushroom Bourguignon. Each meal is supposed to be for 2 people and all the ingredients are portioned up to make cooking simple for people like me!
The "Fable" mushrooms are "Meaty pulled Shitake mushrooms". Sounds interesting.
The thing that puzzles me is why its being given away. They double ordered! All of the ingredients would keep for a few days - or you could make up double quantities and freeze some. People really puzzle me sometimes! But, their loss is my gain, so I'm not complaining. Big Grin
