A few things have made me happy today and you may say I am easily pleased. Rolleyes

First thing was that British Pork Shoulder was only £3.50 a kilo at Morries,so you can guess what's for Sunday dinner tomorrow! Ideal for pulled pork apparently?

The next thing, also at Morries was that they had healthy looking herbaceous perennials in 4/5 inch pots at £3.00 each or buy two get one free, making it a couple of quid per plant Cool
I bought an Achillia (Cloh of Gold),Delphinium (Lilac Pink wih White Bee) and Coreopsis (Early Sunrise). I assume they are hardened off,but if they have been indoors for  a while, maybe not? Huh

Its the Spring Equinox and the sun is here - and its hot and its Garden Waste collection day tomorrow, so I can fill the bins in the sunshine.
That's at least 3 things that make me happy.

and another.......saw a Peacock butterfly in GH1.
and another ......saw a ladybird and a woodpecker.Big Grin

I bought six Cineraria Maritima at Aldi this morning quite cheaply. I think its supposed to be an annual or possibly a bienial? but the last plants I had lasted for about five years and gave me silver foliage summer and winter. Cool

Spring! The snow has melted, it's warming up and Lidl have all the fruit bushes in the shop!

I've bought two raspberry, two black currants, one redcurrant, two blueberries and one gooseberry for the garden. I'm going out to plant them this weekend!

Borrowed a carpet cleaner for the living room carpet (Kato's domain!) and chuffed to bits how carpet has turned out. I am knackred with shifting furniture and using cleaner though! Rolleyes
Next time Kato comes in mucky and wet after a walk, he is barred from the living room! Big Grin

It's like Christmas day for me as it's the first day of the trout fishing season. I've never missed an open day yet so will be at the waters edge come hail or high water straight after my morning excercise routine. Cool Can't wait, and really excited, just like a bairn on Christmas morning Big Grin
