RE: 2022 - Picked my first.................. - SarrissUK - 08-06-2022 I picked some pink elderflowers in the garden last week and the cordial is ever such a pretty pink colour, but yhe flavour isn't very strong at all. Tonight I went out with Jay in tow and picked a packed large shopping bag of normal elderflower from along the village road. I've set the cordial to steep, and it smells amazing RE: 2022 - Picked my first.................. - JJB - 09-06-2022 (07-06-2022, 07:48 PM)Veggie Wrote: Golden Sweet mangetout. I've got Oregon Sugar Pod (who hasn't) which I'm picking and I even have flowers on my outside Bijou, they're so pretty, won't be long before the first Bijou MT. I've even remembered to put both Bijou and OSP seeds in for successional sowing, hopefully they'll be OK when the old ones are tired and given up. |
