RE: Raspberry cane advice - JJB - 05-08-2021 I'm highjacking Broadway's thread a bit so forgive me. I have two fruit cages each with two rows of unknown unremarkable summer raspberries with the occasional autumn fruiting cane. None of which I paid for I'm considering digging up one row and buying some autumn fruiting canes to replace them. Contemplating actually spending some money is rather unsettling, so I was hoping for your recommendation for a sweet large fruited autumn raspberry not worried what colour. I see Veggie likes Joan J. RE: Raspberry cane advice - Veggie - 05-08-2021 Grew Autumn Bliss first but, after being introduced to Joan J. there was no going back. She's bigger fruited. RE: Raspberry cane advice - JJB - 06-08-2021 Sounds like a contender. Thank you. RE: Raspberry cane advice - Admin - 06-08-2021 Joan J as well, nothing comes close in my opinion RE: Raspberry cane advice - JJB - 06-08-2021 I second that motion, it will be Joan j. Don't necessarily need a 10 ft row immediately. RE: Raspberry cane advice - Jimny14 - 06-08-2021 So if we say 20" apart for each plant in your row then a 10' row would need 7 plants? I think my maths is right there.
