RE: Flower seed ID please - JJB - 08-03-2023 Not grown scabious (that I know) I also wondered about helichrysum but didn't think they went fluffy. RE: Flower seed ID please - JJB - 08-03-2023 Could be michelmas daisy. A pal donated a couple of clump, maybe I thought to save the seed. Also grew a few asters last year too, so that's a possibility. RE: Flower seed ID please - Scarlet - 01-04-2023 [attachment=6035] Heres my Helichrysum... it does have fluff and looks a similar shape? I have knapweed s/s seed here but they dont look a good match RE: Flower seed ID please - JJB - 01-04-2023 (01-04-2023, 02:15 PM)Scarlet Wrote: Heres my Helichrysum... it does have fluff and looks a similar shape? As they're now germinating I agree Scarlet, more than likely helichrysum. The seedlings look exactly like those in my pot of labelled helichrysum seeds, also germinating. Not something I've grown successfully before, only one plant survived last year due to my neglect. I'm really pleased that I'll have more than one this year hopefully. |
