Not at all , if I’d have half a chance of spelling that correctly , I’d of gone with that as well  Big Grin .

Are they called umbellifers because their flower/seed heads look like umbrellas? I think choosing umbellifers for U is inspirational,  no cheating  involved at all.
Umbrellas are called umbrellas because they look like Umbellifers. Big Grin

Being incredibly cheeky    Blush , any chance you fancy saving seeds from the last 2 on your list for the seed swap this year? Please. That’s if a swap is happening this year of course?

RE: I-Spy Plants in May - August. - Veggie - 22-08-2025

Of course there'll be a seed swap this year. Big Grin
I'll try to save some seeds of the verbena. Not sure about the pink/red valerian as I've been trying to "out" it from a pot and there's not much left in the way of flowers. Not my favourite plant as it was so invasive at the little house down west. Grew in the old stone walls and was a nightmare to remove when it grew bigger. It damaged the stonework.

Excellent news and thank you    Big Grin . I didn’t realise valerian was a thug. The few times I’ve seen it up here, it’s been very well behaved. But nevertheless you can forget to save seeds from that. The bees when they ever arrive can go find their own valerian    Big Grin .

I've got wallflower plants but no flowers, yarrow for tomorrow

RE: I-Spy Plants in May - August. - Small chilli - 24-08-2025

I’m going to say yarrow. But not convinced there’s any flowers left. Think it’s all gone to seed.

Mine's a weed in the lawn, the only green there, the rest is dry brown and crispy,  and is flowering profusely
