Not sure about the pink/red valerian as I've been trying to "out" it from a pot and there's not much left in the way of flowers. Not my favourite plant as it was so invasive at the little house down west. Grew in the old stone walls and was a nightmare to remove when it grew bigger. It damaged the stonework.
