RE: Organising a seed swap!!! - Admin - 28-01-2023 Not on a scale of the seed companies, but Garden and Gossip will donate £25 to spend on seeds, you could order from premier seeds direct and split the packets. That’s incredibly generous of you boss . Garden & Gossip as with any other organisation that contributes with be getting promoted as much as I can on the day and on Facebook afterwards. RE: Organising a seed swap!!! - Small chilli - 29-01-2023 Garden & Gossip have donated these seeds. Thank you . [attachment=5784] I’ll be able to split all of these into at least 4 packets when they arrive. Hopefully I’ve chosen wisely. A good selection across the board ? It’s difficult choosing seeds for other people . RE: Organising a seed swap!!! - Veggie - 29-01-2023 Great choice, SC. You'd better start making envelopes now - you'll need about 100. Because I need quite a few for splitting my own seeds as well. The thought of making over a hundred was just to scary! RE: Organising a seed swap!!! - JJB - 29-01-2023 Some fine choices there SC, I don't know how you made the decision of what to buy that would entice other people but you seem to have achieved it. RE: Organising a seed swap!!! - Small chilli - 30-01-2023 Advice please. As I’ve never been to a swap. What’s the going rate for seeds that are being paid for if they don’t have any to swap? RE: Organising a seed swap!!! - Veggie - 30-01-2023 The HSL seeds at the swap I go to are £1 but its really up to you and how many seeds you have to offer - and what the aim is for raising money. If its to go into the Gardening Club funds - or support a local project or, you might just want to get people gardening and growing. |
