JJB, How ! Have you never had a crisp sandwich? Best thing ever. In fact adding crisps to any sandwich exactly as described by Veggie, improves them 10 fold    Big Grin . I know what I’m having for lunch today.

Never had a chip sandwich either.  Shock horror! I have very occasionally added an odd crisp to a salady sandwich. We very seldom have crisps in the house., it's even rarer I have a sandwich.  I'm definitely deprived.

For brunch I had srambled eggs with chilli flakes and smoked salmon. For tea  I had pork chops and black pudding with a dollop of chunky bramley apple sauce. For Ron I will have the rest of the smoked salmon with cream cheese on buttered cream crackers.

There’s something about that crisp crunch when you squash them. Big Grin
I like chips, lettuce and tartare sauce sarnies, or just chips and tomato sauce.
I have a slice of bread with most meals it’s just something I’ve always done.

Later we’re having Mackerel, quinoa salad, olives, homemade hummus with carrots and  celery sticks.

We've been living off leftovers for a few days now as we've had some friends and family over for tea a few times last week. So I've had lots of rib meat sandwiches, lasagna, burgers etc.
Tonight was meant to be something freshly cooked, but I went to a history seminar about the very local villages and how land ownership changed late 1800s, and they had sandwiches left over at the end for cheap, so I bought two bags and we had them with some crisps instead.

That reminds me, we have found some salt and vinegar crisps with a real tang to them here - we are so pleased! Everything else is flavoured with sourcream and onion lol
