RE: New planters - Veggie - 22-06-2021 I have one in the top of the cupboard and there its going to stay - mainly because I can't reach it!! As a totally pointless comment - my piano tuner's name was Ken Wood. Always made me laugh. RE: New planters - Veggie - 22-06-2021 Sorry, forgot to say that you should "plug" the power plug into the tree stump to make it look like it works and you're about to whizz up a batch of heather cake. RE: New planters - Admin - 23-06-2021 It blends in well RE: New planters - Bren - 23-06-2021 (22-06-2021, 09:31 PM)Vinny Wrote: Nice one. I think the monochrome piccie suits it.I do like your planter SC it does looks good on that stump, but its not something I'd do to a Kenwood I love my Kenwoods I've got 3 of them one I've had 40 year, 2nd was bought from Gumtree while we waited for part to arrive to fix the original one and the 3rd was out of a skip in perfect working order. We tried, I’ve still got the burn mark in my kitchen work top to prove it . They are incredibly well built. It took me ages to remove all the workings out of the top and work out how to put it back together so it looks functional. Even longer to fill the top with compost. Through that little hole . Which now has a creeping thyme seedling planted in it. The bowl has orange scented thyme & hyssop in it.(22-06-2021, 09:31 PM)Vinny Wrote: Nice one. We had problems with one of the Kenwoods it would only work on its side fixed now though. I know this is an old thread Bren, but have just come across your post, so curious to know, how did you discover that a food mixer only worked when on its side. RE: New planters - Bren - 28-02-2022 Spec that Kenwood had stopped working MrB tipped it upside down to look underneath and like magic it worked. He fixed it after buying a £8 kit of bits from ebay. RE: New planters - Spec - 28-02-2022 Thanks Bren, I can sleep at night now knowing that You will know the saying. Curiosity killed the cat. But Satisfaction brought it back |
