I have a piece of aluminium sheet that's been cut to fit the hole but it blew off in the wind this week and needs to be restuck. The glass has been too wet for the tape to adhere..

We had a nice covering of snow a couple days ago. We went up to the Lickey Hills for a little walk, which offered rather more scenic views than our quickly melting coverage at home.
