Occasionally use bog standard chilli flakes ( don't shudder SC) for a bit of heat in cooking, but apart from that not too keen on fiery flavours. But still find it fascinating reading about you enthusiasts. RE: Just got delivery of some new chilli plugs - Small chilli - 23-05-2020 (23-05-2020, 09:00 AM)JJB Wrote:Pitiful excuses ! I believe she tolerated the no heat jalapeños . I’ll let you into a little secret. I don’t like hot chillies! RE: Just got delivery of some new chilli plugs - JJB - 23-05-2020 Firstly SC, a no heat chilli? Surely that's an oxymoron. Or perhaps a sweet pepper? Secondly, if you can recommend a mild chilli and what to use it for, then I might try next year, it's too late now isn't it? You never know you might convert me. RE: Just got delivery of some new chilli plugs - Jay - 23-05-2020 Freeze them and use them straight from the freezer, that's what I do. RE: Just got delivery of some new chilli plugs - Can the Man - 26-05-2020 Great news, Joy Michaud from Sea Spring Seeds has been in contact with me, she is replacing the 2 chilli plants Tinkerbell & Spaghetti free of charge, she is also sending me some sweet pepper plants that I tried add to my chilli order but she missed my email. I am really impressed with their customer service. http://www.seaspringseeds.co.uk/ RE: Just got delivery of some new chilli plugs - Small chilli - 26-05-2020 I’ve been in contact with Joy a few times and met her once. She really does care & know about her chillies. Sea spring will always be my first recommendations to anyone. I will order my plugs earlier of her next year so I can have a longer growing period in the poly tunnel. |
