RE: Carrots in pots undercover - JJB - 19-07-2020 Thanks all, I might have to sew some fancy hairnets for the tubs, I was hoping they would sit in the GH safely without netting. The outdoor carrots in the veg bed are under fine mesh. I was just hoping to extend the season a little and make use of GH into the colder season, I had even thought to sow some carrots in the border now. Downside re carrot fly is the door is always open at this time of year, but I had hoped that by the time the carrots germinate the fly will be less active. |
