RE: Tea bags & microplastics - Veggie - 20-10-2025 I have a glass teapot with a strainer infuser thing built in to it. I'll be back with an image! Its a bit like this one - with a Pyrex body that fits into a metal frame with metal handle. Can't find the exact one - and it was FREE so no idea where it came from! https://www.amazon.co.uk/CRYSTALIA-Borosilicate-Resistant-Infusers-Infusion/dp/B0DPGQH7TK/ref=sr_1_31?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.i6NX04hdo_RQ73Y0Fa1BhoQXXuv4XwZbIhbfYZfCR_fLBfhyOngqzCR3Vr_Wsfxq7_jp36Zq2reo1j0fkSSgitm9e1yGrSQGiGxj-8DvN67WJpTYrxiw0QDAQS-L_ZPkD8hJ85M8gPYVanZAE3taS0mceDWRRcTcTOP9me43lmzKX9J3RhElQiJoVY9FkgMP9EH8QFUKJsogA2tfdGV3FZWmMhxj2H1tO9uO-50H_0BT4QelsyfxhG9aiQJhRDaq9JVhqz911kFrF3o8aUlfsylP94WQDFFAMr8xSRXAKgo.Vi5jY_8s60x5yEHDi-VKN8lxObl3kImIxPJpYN9oSTg&dib_tag=se&keywords=glass%2Bteapot%2Bbodum&qid=1760949901&sr=8-31&th=1 RE: Tea bags & microplastics - Vinny - 20-10-2025 (20-10-2025, 09:38 AM)Veggie Wrote: I have a glass teapot with a strainer infuser thing built in to it.I'm not openng the link in case I get polluted with offes fom Amazon!
RE: Tea bags & microplastics - Veggie - 20-10-2025 How about Argos pollution? https://www.argos.co.uk/product/8689485?_$ja=tsid:72555%7Cacid:F112TTTL%7Ccid:614128168%7Cagid:1152289980442270%7Ctid:pla-2323817826149783%7Ccrid:72018287761471%7Cnw:search%7Cdvc:c%7Cst:argos%20teapots%20with%20infusion%7Cmt:be%7Cloc:133602&cmpid=BPLA01&utm_custom1=1152289980442270&utm_custom2=F112TTTL&msclkid=1e1ffd43919a12e3a8a695b5a5f2b245&gclsrc=ds&gad_source=7&gad_campaignid=22669477610 RE: Tea bags & microplastics - JJB - 21-10-2025 (20-10-2025, 09:20 AM)Bren Wrote: JJB you need a teapot and a strainer, be selective buying a strainer some have holes too large and let the 'bits' through. You're right Bren. I have the teapot (in everyday use) that way I get two cups from one teabag and already have a strainer. I even have some Whittards loose leaf tea in the back of the cupboard somewhere but still can't see me going over to loose leaf permanently somehow.
