I'm not giving anything up - right now there's a lot at stake, with the house sale still on-going in the UK, new jobs happening here, house buying here, exchange rates plummeting just in time for us to transfer money lol

So, I'm having the treats that I feel that I need, but rest assured I cook a lot of wholesome food and have plenty of activity in my life. That'll do, pig, that'll do.

Day 2. I scattered lots of old spinach seeds and sorted out some music CDs to take to the charity book/CD stand in Morries next time i go there.

Proud of myself after visiting the charity shops and not even looking at the books! Smile

Day 3 - Scattered a jam jar full of old flower seeds under the fruit trees in the middle of the garden (Strip 2).
Decluttered the bathroom cabinet and chucked out all the sachets of moisturiser (that felt pretty dried up!) and shampoos - the sort you get as free samples. When I'm going to wash my hair, I forget that these sachets are in the cupboard and when I have remembered them they're too fiddly to rip open when you're hands are wet. Also binned some "After Sun" - another useless item as I can't remember the last time I exposed any skin to the sun!

I'm the other way around - I look for DIY books, build it yourself kinda books. I found a book on how to build steps, sheds, fences, washing lines and all sorts when I went to the charity shop last, and another one on wild board and how to hunt them!
It's not just the thrill of finding a book that you really need, but also the fact that they rarely cost over 20p lol
