Some of the leaves are as big as my head. Remarkable-looking plants. RE: Aubergines 2020 - Veggie - 28-06-2020 My leaves are more hand size - unless you have a small head. RE: Aubergines 2020 - Small chilli - 28-06-2020 I’ve got a flower bud on one of mine. The other one that was felled by voles is making a comeback. RE: Aubergines 2020 - Roitelet - 29-06-2020 I’m showing off!! [attachment=606] Six plants and they have all got fruit and loads of flowers. RE: Aubergines 2020 - Mamzie - 29-06-2020 I have one plant going mad, another doing ok and the third teeny ... My Aubergines are like the 3 Bears basically RE: Aubergines 2020 - PyreneesPlot - 15-07-2020 Picked the first aubergines today - the plants were grown by a friend and are way ahead of my own. Embarrassing as she's a newbie I was helping last year Baby Belle F1 & Listada Da Gandia RE: Aubergines 2020 - Veggie - 17-07-2020 [attachment=773]I think it'll be a while before I can pick aubs but they are making an appearance now. RE: Aubergines 2020 - Roitelet - 17-07-2020 You will be surprised just how quickly they grow. RE: Aubergines 2020 - PyreneesPlot - 30-07-2020 Sadly the voles got my Listada di Gandia after just a single fruit - I've been trying to keep it going for a week with buckets of water but it eventually had so little stem and root left it just fell over [attachment=871] But both Clara [attachment=872] and Caspar [attachment=873] are starting to fruit. Both varieties are new to me (the plants were grown by a friend), so we shall see what the flavour is like |
