RE: Ways to start seeds into life - SarrissUK - 03-05-2022 I don't chit or soak anything at all. The last thing I soaked was sweetcorn for popping, which were soaked but not a single one germinated lol I don't chit potatoes, all seeds get bunged into compost I love modules, and for stuff that will stay in pots all their lives (chillies, some tomatoes, aubergines etc) get large modules so I don't have to pot them on so often. RE: Ways to start seeds into life - Veggie - 03-05-2022 I fail, every time, when I soak seeds before sowing. They just rot on me - so I've stopped. RE: Ways to start seeds into life - SarrissUK - 03-05-2022 Yep, so did the sweetcorn - after a few days in compost, the mold appeared! RE: Ways to start seeds into life - Scarlet - 03-05-2022 I always soak sweetpeas- I can't think of anything else I soak. |
