RE: 2022 - Picked my first.................. - JJB - 30-03-2022 You do like to prod the sleeping tiger, don't you V? You can go off people you know PS I expect the Bijou was lovely. RE: 2022 - Picked my first.................. - Veggie - 30-03-2022 "Sleeping tiger" ??? ...........you. More like a little pussy cat. RE: 2022 - Picked my first.................. - JJB - 30-03-2022 slightly bigger than a pusycat, but definitely docile, meow, purrrrr RE: 2022 - Picked my first.................. - Mark_Riga - 01-04-2022 Picked first rhubarb yesterday, first for several years. I rescued a bit from the wildlife area 2 years ago that has just about developed enough to pick some. RE: 2022 - Picked my first.................. - Norfolk Grey - 02-04-2022 Asparagus, only one but I am hoping it will have friends soon and good ole rhubarb. RE: 2022 - Picked my first.................. - JJB - 02-04-2022 Baby carrots from the gh, so much nicer than the shop bought stuff. RE: 2022 - Picked my first.................. - PyreneesPlot - 02-04-2022 First chives, lovely fresh and green onion hit! RE: 2022 - Picked my first.................. - Proserpina - 02-04-2022 I have been nibbling my Black Seeded Simpson lettuce. I have so much seed and it's growing beautifully, but it's seeming like a leaf for bulking out a salad rather than for flavour or texture. Not necessarily a bad thing, but you wouldn't want it as your only lettuce. RE: 2022 - Picked my first.................. - PyreneesPlot - 24-04-2022 Spring greens. The variety is April but is rather tasteless. RE: 2022 - Picked my first.................. - Small chilli - 25-04-2022 Yesterday was rocket, lettuce, & asparagus Today will be rhubarb. |
